Handmaids is a love story that started with a rash and grew organically one balm at a time. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, the saying goes. For us, beauty arises with the minimalist approach to mix essential oils with other natural ingredients to achieve maximal potency. We learned that we need to love and believe in ourselves to accomplish something valuable that will be appreciated by others.
Step by step, we succeeded in producing the outstanding products which we sell today. We feel privileged for the valuable lessons the entire journey taught us and honoured by the ongoing support of our friend and family.
To feel good in your own skin
We oppose violence. Naturally, our products are not tested on animals and we don’t work with such suppliers. We are officially certified as a Cruelty-Free company by PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). All our products, however, are tried extensively by us and our friends and then tested and certified according to EU legislation.
Our packaging is minimal because we value Nature.
We are both honest, good-hearted, hard-working and cheerful but each in her own way and at a different pace.
Tania is a truly sincere Earth person who gets along very well with kids and animals. She always manages to get the job done and to act adequately thanks to her great patience and high spirit.
Maia with her stormy moods is more of a Moon person. She manages her tides with a good sense of humour and infectious laughter inherited from her grandmother. She speaks quietly and therefore prefers to communicate in writing. Maia has successfully graduated from Formula Botanica in Diploma & Advanced Diploma in Organic Skincare Formulation, together with a certificate on Anti-Aging Formulations.
